WARNING: THIS POST HAS SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR!If you are reading this post, you’ve probably seen Avengers: Infinity War, or you don’t care about spoilers. Even so, if you have seen it, you were probably like me and reacted like this during the whole movie. The last half hour of the movie was one of the most intense things Marvel has done with its movies, this is even worse when they killed off Quicksilver in Age of Ultron. Gamora died, Vision died (NOT TO MENTION PETER PARKER!), Thanos has all the Infinity Stones, and, my theories, and everyone’s, were wrong. Nothing about my first post on here was right! But, I think I may know what happened at the end of the movie.
The end of Infinity War reflects what happened in the 1991 comic series, Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos snaps his fingers and half of the universe’s population is dead. Heroes are met with confusion and disbelief. After this, Thanks dies and Nebula takes the Gauntlet and reverses what he did out of spite. As we know, the MCU is different from the comics, so I don’t believe Thanos will be dying that easily, that brings me to my theory for the unnamed Avengers 4 movie, coming out in 2019. When Thanos snaps his fingers at the end of the movie with all the Infinity Stones, he is transported into this orange plane and sees a small Gamora, his adopted daughter who he sacrified for the soul stone. This seems strange, but my first thought was that this isn’t some strange fever dream, but I don’t believe it is. In the comics, there is a dimension in the Soul Stone called Soul World. And I think that is where he went to after he potentially whipped out half of the universe. In the comics, Gamora has been to Soul World, as well as Adam Warlock (who won’t be in the MCU till 2020 :/). So, why do I even bring up Soul World? That is where I believe everyone went. T’challa, Peter Quill, Peter Parker, Wanda, they all went to soul world instead of actually dying. How did they get there? Remember when Thanos sacrificed Gamora for the Soul Stone, a soul for a soul? I believe that she soul was infused with the Soul Stone, so she is still aware of what is going on, in the soul stone. And when he snapped his fingers, she used the Soul Stone to transport everyone with her so they wouldn’t actually die. People have been trapped in the Soul Stones in the comics, so this wouldn’t be completely strange if the Russo Brothers decided to go this route for Avengers 4. So, what is in store for 2019? I believe that Captain Marvel will be powerful enough to destroy the Stones and return everyone. In the end credit scene, Nick Fury was seen contacting someone, who happens to be Captain Marvel, who will be getting her own movie later this year or early next year. As seen in Infinity War, the Stones can be destroyed, Wanda was powerful enough to destroy the Mind Stone, but Thanos turned back time and took it. I believe that they will find Captain Marvel, and with her help, the original Avengers and her, as well as Rocket Racoon and Nebula, they will be able to stop Thanos. If if you didn’t know, Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel, having powers such as flight, super strength and energy manipulation. So it would not be far fetched to say that she’d be the one to ultimately end Thanos.

As many of you know, I absolutely love superheroes. I grew up with watching Batman: The Animated Series, The Avengers TV Show, Marvel and DC movies and more recently, shows such as My Hero Acadamia. But 2017’s Wonder Woman takes the prize as one of my favorite superhero movies of all time, even beating my love for the Captain America and The Guardians of the Galaxy movies. So last week I was scrolling through Tumblr, as per usual, when I came across that someone bought a denim jacket with the Wonder Woman logo on it for $130. It was colored and it only had the logo. It was apparently in really good condition, but the price was so much for a jacket like that. So I got curious and started looking up how to paint a denim jacket. Then I found out, like most things, it’s a lot cheaper to do it yourself. For the past week, i had been walking into stores to find the things I need and started the project on Friday night and finished Saturday afternoon. So, here is how I painted my own Wonder Woman jacket. What you’ll need is: - a denim jacket (I got mine at Goodwill for $3 because Walmart didn’t have any and I’m too broke to look anywhere else) - Fabric paint (Michael’s has it for $4) - paint brushes - printed designs for the jacket (mine are the logo and “The God Killer”) - a razor knife - a cutting board - cardboard - tape Before I did anything else, I used the razor knife to cutout my designs. I put the pieces of paper on a cutting board and cut them out. Let me tell you, this took me forever to do. I had to go back on some parts and cut a little bit out again because it didn’t look even with I held it up. It honestly sucked but I managed to finish both of them without losing much of my mind. After I almost lost my mind over two pieces of paper, I put the jacket onto a piece of cardboard. The cardboard is there in case the paint decides to leak through the jacket. It’s also there to keep it from moving too much. I took my first desired design and placed it where I wanted it on the back of the jacket. Then I taped it down on all four sides so it wouldn’t move a lot while painting it. Oh boy it’s time to paint it. What I did was start on the edges and go towards the middle. I did this so the paper will stay down on the jacket and not move while I pained. I didn’t want any of the paint to go under the area I was painting (it did happen in some spots but it’s not the end of the world). And let me tell you, if you think that cutting the paper took forever, honey you’ve got a big storm coming. The painting felt like years, I did two coats on each but I had to let it dry in between. The drying alone made me want to give up this whole thing, but since I did this for the blog I didn’t give up. After you let it drink for half a century, you need to take off the stencil and throw it away. I know that cutting it out took forever but it’s covered in paint and not worth saving. After I finished the logo, I started the painting process over again with the sword. The sword was a lot harder since it’s supposed to look like it’s behind the Wonder Woman logo. While the sword was drying, I took a quote from the movie and painted it on the bottom of the jacket. The quote “What I do, is not up to you” is from the scene where Diana is about to kill Ludendorff at the gala when Steve stops her. It’s one of my favorite quotes from the movie. Now that the paiting process was over, I had to wait overnight for it to be ready for the final step. I left it on the table in fear that my cats were going to get into it, but luckily they didn’t get into the paint. I cleaned everything up and washed my paint brushes. After waiting overnight, you need to iron it so the paint doesn’t wash off when you wash it. I set the iron to a medium heat without steam (apparently steam does something to the paint and we don’t want that in this household). When you iron anything with paint, you need to put some piece of fabric in between the painted fabric and the iron. I used a pillow case for this. After it’s heated it, just go over the painted areas gently and keep it in a consistent pattern. Then you’re done with painting your jacket. The only things I would change in mine are to make the sword longer and find a stencil for the letters. I did the letters free hand, and I don’t have the best hand writing.
You can add anything onto your jacket if you want, such as pins and patches. I was going to add a patch but I never got around to buying one. The pins are actually from my backpack, but I’m going to keep them on the jacket since they’re some of my favorites. The three pins are “Better Together”, Wonder Woman from the Bombshell comics (which are really good) and Midorya Izuku/Deku from My Hero Acadamia (I kinda wish I had a Kirishima Eijiro/Red Riot pin for it but I don’t know if there are any). After seven years of teasing Thanos as a villain, we finally get to see him is a universal conqueror in Avengers: Infinity War coming out April 27. The basics that we know is that he is here to get the infinity stones. As seen in the trailers, he has obtained the power stone that was introduced in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and soon the Space Stone, given to Thanos by Loki as the Tesseract. The Tesseract was the main item in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). Three other Infinity Stones have been discovered throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Reality Stone, the Mind Stone and the Time Stone. But the question I have had for a while, where is the soul stone?
There have been many theories, some more extreme than others. Two of my favorite theories are Heimdell and Wakanda. If you have never seen any of the Thor movies, then you would not have been introduced to Heimdell. In the first two Thor movies, he was the guardian of the Bifröst, the gateway to other realms in Asguard. And in Thor Ragnorok, he is getting refugees of Asguard away from Hela. The thing that makes this theory interesting is what power Heimdell possesses. He is able to see every soul in the nine realms. At the end of Thor, Thor asks about Jane, and Heimdell says she’s alright while standing at the now broken Rainbow Bridge. So it is not the Bifröst that gives Heimdell his powers. That’s why people believe he possesses the Soul Stone. In the first two movies, he is primarily shown wearing orange, the color of the soul stone. Another theory that I like is that the soul stone crashed into Wakanda with the meteorite that gave them vibranium. If you don’t know, vibranium is the strongest metal on earth, and the most manipulatable, as see in Black Panther. It is also what Captain America shield is made of and what is embedded into the Black Panther suits. The theory goes that the soul stone gave them the heart shaped herbs that are talked about in the movie. The first Black Panther was told by the gods to eat it to give him the power of the Black Panther, but it can also take them away. It could also be why a new king can see and interact with the kings of the past during that ceremony in the movie. Another thing that people talk about is who will die in Infinity War. Marvel confirmed that someone will die, but nobody knows for certain. People say that Steve Rodgers will die, while others say Thor, even Hawkeye is dragged into the pool. With the patterns that Marvel has in their movies, I believe it will be Tony Stark. Marvel seems to have this pattern that any father-son relationship ends with the father figure dying. This is seen in movies such as Thor Ragnorok with Odin’s death, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 with Yandu, T’Chaka in Captain America: Civil War, and for a time, people believed Nick Fury died in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (all the drama seems to happen in Steve’s movies huh?). Peter Parker seems to see Tony as a father figure in Spiderman: Homecoming, more so than a mentor. Tony seems always worried about him and saves Peter’s life twice in the movie, seeming to have fatherly instincts. He even says he sounds like his own father when he was scolding Peter about the ferry. Robert Downey Jr. has also said that he is done making Marvel movies after Infinity War or slightly after. My other predictions for Infinity War are:

A bit more about me I guessI really got into these things because of my dad. He was the one who really got me into things such as comic books and was the one who took me and my two brothers to our first Comic Con when I was in 7th grade. My dad trusts me with the camera on vacations. He is the one who really believes in me and is proud of what I do.
Thanks dad :) |
